This chicken alfredo is seriously delicious. It easily beats any restaurant alfredo! If you want to impress friends or family, make this recipe!
For as long as I can remember, pasta has always been one of my favorite things. I’ve always been a carb lover. And if you are a carb lover as well, let me tell you friend, this is by far the best chicken alfredo I have ever tasted. And that’s coming from a pasta connoisseur. It has the perfect amount of everything, and beats out any restaurant alfredo any day! And the best part of the recipe (besides the taste obviously) is the ease of it. It’s a super simple recipe, but you would never know that based on the taste!
If you wanted, you could leave the chicken out, and just make this as a side dish. I use three fairly large chicken breasts, which I then cut in half. I would advise cutting the chicken breasts in half, or either pounding them to be thinner. I put some olive oil on them, season them with salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic powder and then bake them in the oven at 350 degrees for about 40-45 minutes. Let them rest for a few minutes, then slice the breasts into strips.
I use fettuccini for this recipe, as I think it is classic chicken alfredo, however if you prefer another pasta, use that instead.
Garnish with fresh parsley and you have the most perfect dinner! This is a perfect weeknight, or date night dinner! Enjoy!!
