Jalapeño Cheddar Sliders

    Ingredients
    • 1lb Ground Turkey or Beef
    • 2Medium Jalapeños, Diced(or 1/3 to 1/2 cup of jarred jalapeños)
    • 1Tsp Garlic Powder
    • 1Tsp Onion Powder
    • 1/2Tsp Salt
    • 1/2Tsp Black Pepper
    • 1/3Cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
    Instructions
    1. Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl and then shape the sliders. Cook either on the grill, stovetop, or stovetop + oven.
    For the Grill
    1. Preheat the grill. Place the sliders on the grill, and cook until they are no longer pink in the center. Typically, about 3 to 5 minutes per side (depending on size and depending on your grill). Try to only flip the burgers once.
    Stovetop
    1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the burgers about 4 minutes per side until no longer pink in the center. Don’t push down on the burgers with a spatula.
    Stovetop + Oven
    1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the sliders, a couple minutes on each side. Place the sliders on a baking sheet (preferably one that has a rack), and bake in the oven for about 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
    2. Place on a bun and add your favorite condiments and toppings!
    Recipe Notes

    To check for doneness, use a meat thermometer – Ground turkey needs to be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
