Easy Overnight Sausage Breakfast Strata
    • 1/2Loaf of White Bread or Challah or Italian Bread
    • 1lb Breakfast Sausage(crumbled, browned, and drained)
    • 8Ounces Freshly Grated Cheddar Cheese
    • 2Cups Half-and-Half
    • 1/2Tsp Dry mustard
    • 1Tsp Kosher Salt,
    • 1/2Tsp Black Pepper
    • 1/4Tsp Paprika
    • 1Tsp Fresh Thyme
    • 5Large Eggs, Beaten
    1. Grease your casserole dish (a 9×13 or a little smaller). Spread the cubed bread over the bottom of the dish. Brown your breakfast sausage and drain, then layer that on top of the bread. Top the sausage with the freshly grated cheese.
    2. Mix together the eggs, half and half, dry mustard, thyme, salt, pepper, and paprika. Pour this mixture over the cheese. Cover the dish with foil and refrigerate overnight or 8 hours.
    3. The next day, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Remove foil and put the strata into the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. If your casserole browns too quickly, tint some foil over it.
    4. Remove from the oven, and let the strata sit for about 10-15 minutes before serving. ENJOY!
